Based on recent security reports and recommendations, we encourage all users to update to the latest versions of the Apple operating software to secure their devices from potential threats. These security vulnerabilities affect iOS and macOS; you should update your work and personal devices at your earliest convenience.

How do I update to iOS 15.6.1?

Your device may automatically prompt you to update to the new operating system.

If it does not, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Click on the iOS 15.6.1 update and install it.

How do I update to macOS 12.5.1?

Click the Apple logo in the top left of your screen
Click System Preferences.
Click Software Update.

The update is not available on older operating systems, such as Catalina and Big Sur, but is available for Monterey. To ensure macOS Big Sur and macOS Catalina have the most recent Safari – Safari 15.6.1 – follow the same steps outlined above to patch additional vulnerabilities.
