This issue is caused by Windows Firewall Settings. We have pushed this update out to our group policy but it will only take effect after a computer restart for updates. Follow the steps below to enable Streaming Media Player on your desktop. 

  • Click Start 
  • Go to Control Panel 
  • Click Systems and Security 
  • Click Windows Firewall
    • In the left hand panel, click Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall. 



    • At the top of the screen, click "Change settings."



    • Scroll down to "Streaming Video Client". There may be multiple instances of this here. Check all of the boxes for each instance of streaming video client. After selection, press OK. 




    • Go to the website and test the live stream to ensure it is functioning as intended.
